Off-Site Construction

Traditional timber framing is the original off site construction technique where all the joinery is cut and tested in the workshop before being assembled on site.

However we have developed our own hybrid system of construction where we fuse our frames with pre-assembled eco-SIP panels.

The benefits of off-site construction are numerous:

A factory setting allows for greater quality control and greater accuracy, resulting in fewer mistakes, less wastage, and ultimately a better quality product.

We are not reliant on good weather or limited by short daylight hours;  so the process is quicker and more efficient.
By limiting site time we also limit the risk of water ingress into the timber frame, which could affect its longevity.
Less site time means less disruption – for you, your neighbours and the local environment.
A greener build – by reducing site time we also reduce the amount of travel our team has to do, thus reducing the carbon footprint and cost of the build.
Reducing hire time of plant, scaffolding etc also helps keep the cost of the project down.
